As an industry leader in the areas of business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR), I have provided strategic and tactical vision for numerous clients in a wide variety of industries and feel I am qualified to serve as your Chief Technical Officer.  The BC/DR methodologies I have developed and published have been adopted by some of the largest organizations in the world. My methodologies approach technical problems from the aspect of providing support for business requirements, rather than the approach many organizations currently take, which is fitting the business requirements to the technology.

My IT methodologies stress the point that a successful Disaster Recovery effort is not only dependent upon a well thought-out DR plan; it must have been derived from an enterprise wide mentality of business continuity.  Furthermore, my methodologies require the teams I manage to consider business continuity as the beginning point in systems design, not the ending point.

I have 26 years of experience in the IT industry which includes design, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise wide IT systems.  During that time I have managed teams of IT professional that included full-time employees, contractors, and vendors.  I publish technical and business management articles on a regular basis in international trade journals, I also teach Disaster Recovery, and other technical courses for Learning Tree International.
